Shortly after their marriage they moved to Aldorough, Elgin Co, Ontario, Canada. By 6 Aug 1863 they had moved to Wild Fowl Bay, Michigan. His father Adam Harder and his brothers John, Michael and sister Sarah. Who had already located there with their families.
