  General Notes:

John B. and Catherine (Harder) Graves moved to Winsor Twp, Huron Co, Michigan in September 1866. Catherine returned to Ontario for a visit and died there. John remained in Winsor Twp until 1869 (or maybe 1870), when he went to Ontario to live with his children, and died there. (source: unknown)

Diane Knight (R-13) found a marriage record at St. Thomas United Church, Elgin Co., Ontario, 19 April 1827, "John B. Graves of Ekfrid, yeoman, and Catherine Hardy [notice this says Hardy, not Harder] of Mosa, spinster, were this day married by me, by banns. Witnesses: Elijah Mann, Peter Graves, Mary Graves, Alymer, Elgin Co." (R-12, R-13)
