The book "ENTERTAINING SATAN" by John Putnam Demos, published by Oxford University Press, is very informative and interesting reading. The first chapter is devoted to Rachel Haffield and Lawrence Clinton. After their divorce, Rachel was convicted of being a "witch". The story is well worth reading, particularly if you are interested in Clinton family history.

Rachel married Lawrence Clinton in Dec 1665.¹ (Lawrence Clinton was born in 1642 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island and died in 1707 in Ipswich, Essex Co, Massachusetts.)
