Genealogy of the Tripp Family by Arthur D. Dean "James M. Tripp married Lydia Jane Mulenix. They were second cousins, both descendants of Job Tripp."
-------------------------------------------- James M. Tripp was a private in Company H, 30 Illinois Infantry during the Civil War. He served for nine months, from 07 September 1864 to 07 June 1865. He was drafted.
His last years were spent in the National Home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is buried in Plot:18 85, Wood National Cemetery.

James married Lydia Jane Mulenix, daughter of Jesse Mulenix and Pamelia Tripp, on 13 Sep 1845. (Lydia Jane Mulenix was born on 19 Oct 1829 in Lachawanna Co, Pennsylvania, died on 29 Jun 1913 in Lemont, Illinois and was buried in Brook's Cem, Lemont, Illinois.)
