1753 - Johann Christophe Kolb arrived in Philadelphia from Rotterdam via Cowes, England on 29 September 1753. On the ship "Rowland", Captain Arthur Tran commanding. Christopher may have came to America aboard this ship, if this is his father. This is a guess, as I have no proof.

1777 - Christopher Culp was recruited into the militia. He was a private in a company raised in the western end of Strasburg Township. Captain James Brown was commanding and Christopher was in the 5th Class.

1801 - Clinton Twp. records show Christopher acting as "Roadmaster" for the Lakeshore. He was a farmer by trade and his religion was Episcopal Methodist.
1802 - Received Land Grant of 250 acres. He also applied for "family lands" and was granted 400 acres. 50 acres per child.
1817 - Will dated
1833 - Christopher Culp died.
1834 - Will probated January 1.
Christopher married Frances ??? about 1770 in Lancaster Co, Pennsylvania. (Frances ??? was born in 1756, died on 12 Apr 1853 in Clinton Twp, Lincoln Co, Ontario and was buried in Culp Farm, Lot 6, Con 1, Clinton Twp, Lincoln Co, Ontario.)
